Police: Revere man tried to burn down home with wife inside

REVERE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Revere man accused of attempting to burn down the home he shares with his wife has been charged with arson and attempted murder.

Dale Perretti, 40, was arrested Monday morning after police said he tried to burn down his home Sunday night.

Perretti's wife told police she came out of the bathroom and found the first floor apartment on fire.

A judge set bail at $25,000 during Perretti's arraignment Monday.
