Police respond to shootings in Dorchester, Mattapan

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police responded to two separate shootings across the Boston area Monday night.

In Mattapan, a man was shot at 63 Sanford St. Police responded to the scene just after 9 p.m., where they found the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Earlier in the night in Dorchester, a man was shot in the head. Police responded to a report of a shooting at 57 Wheatland Ave. around 6:30 p.m.
    
Boston police say the man suffered life-threatening injuries. His condition is not known.
    
No arrests have been made in either of the shootings.
