Police: One dead, two injured in Dorchester shooting

DORCHESTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – One man is dead after a triple shooting that occurred in the Dorchester section of Boston on Monday.

The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. at 230 Park Street. One of the victims was found in front of the residence suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers located a second male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his throat. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and is expected to survive.

The third victim suffered from an apparent gunshot wound to his hip and shoulder area. He was also transported to Boston Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Police say they were patrolling a nearby street when they heard 12 gunshots. They say a van was seen leaving the area, but so far, no arrests have been made.
