Police on Cape make Oxycodone bust

MARSTONS MILLS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police on Cape Cod said two people were arrested following a drug bust in Marstons Mills.

Police said they saw a suspicious meeting between members of a drug trafficking organization in Sandwich. After the meeting, officers followed 25-year-old Nicole Cabral to a Marstons Mills neighborhood where she met with 31-year-old Mario Gatto.

Police stopped Cabral and Gatto. Officers said Cabral tried to dissolve Oxycodone pills in a container of liquid and Gatto attempted to hide $4,500 in cash between the driver's seat and console in his car.

According to police, Cabral had 195 Oxycodone tablets in her car. Police found another 50 tablets, cocaine and $1,600 in cash at her home. She was arrested and charged with conspiracy to violate the controlled substances act, trafficking Oxycodone, and possession of Oxycodone and cocaine with intent to distribute.

Gatto was arrested on charges of conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act and possession of Oxycodone with intent to distribute.

Another person who was at the Sandwich meeting was stopped on Route 3. Police recovered approximately $13,000 in cash from that person's car.
