Police officer caught on video tripping students after soccer game in Texas


GEORGETOWN, Texas (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A police department in Texas is investigating a video that appears to show one of their officers tripping fans at a high school soccer game.

A student at Vandegrift High School posted the video to YouTube. Fans can be seen rushing the field after the girls soccer team won their first state championship.

During the video, an announcer can be heard telling the crowd to remain off the field. An officer can then be seen tripping one student before apparently trying to trip a second.

The police department told KTBC the officer was working security at the event. They are investigating.
