Police: Newton woman accidentally backed car into son

NEWTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Authorities responded to home in Newton Tuesday after a woman allegedly backed her car into her adult son.

According to police, the incident occurred at 69 Donna Road at about 2:15 p.m.

Fire officials tell FOX 25 the pair was unloading the back of the minivan when the woman accidentally stepped on the gas, pushing her son into the garage and knocking down a support beam.

On Wednesday, authorities identified the male victim killed in the crash as 44-year-old Bruce Levine. The driver of the car was 69-year-old Estafaye Levine.
