Police: Medford man used skateboard to damage car

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Medford man accused of using his skateboard to damage a car parked on Cambridge Street in Boston was arrested early Sunday morning following the incident.

Officers responded to the Government Center MBTA station in Boston at about 2:15 a.m. for reports of a disturbance.

Witnesses told police a man, later identified as 22-year-old Shawn MacMillan, was swinging his skateboard around and had smashed out the back windshield of a car with the skateboard.

Officers approached MacMillan, who offered some unintelligible comments, and placed him into custody for malicious destruction of property, police said.

MacMillan was expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on Monday.
