BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Boston responded to Devon Street in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood after a man and woman were shot in the area Monday afternoon.
According to police, the shooting occurred at the corner of Devon Street and Vaughan Street at about 1:57 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found the victims inside a car suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers also found a small child in the back seat. The child was not injured.
The victims were taken to Boston Medical Center and Brigham and Women's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police are searching for a medium blue Chevrolet in connection with the incident.

Police responded to 107 Devon St. Saturday morning for an alleged accidental shooting. Upon arrival, the male victim told police his cousin who was "playing with a gun" shot him. The victim told police the suspect had already left the apartment and took the gun used in the incident with him.
The victim was transported to Boston Medical Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At about 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, 33-year-old Anthony Arthur, of Roslindale, turned himself in to police in connection with that shooting. He is charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
