• Police: Man stuffed items into child’s pockets in store robbery


    MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in Manchester, N.H., say a man stuffed candy and other items into a child's pockets during a store robbery Tuesday.

    The clerk at the TN Convenience store on Bridge Street told police that the man removed items from store shelves and put them in his pockets as well as the child's pockets. When the clerk confronted the man, police said a struggle ensued.

    Police said the man and child were able to get away but were able to recover some items, including Tootsie Roll lollipops and coffee filters.

    The man was described as a white man, in his 20s with a bald or shaved head. He was wearing a black leather jacket, white long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, black shoes and a baseball cap. The clerk told police he noticed the man had tattoos on his arms and on his back.
