Police: Man had open Four Loco, 4-year-old in van

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in Sturbridge arrested a man they said they found with an open container of Four Loco malt beverage and a four-year-old boy inside a van Thursday night.

Police told the Telegram and Gazette that Mitchell Spenard, 24, of Southbridge, had a blood alcohol level of 1.4 when he was found near a Wendy's restaurant at about 10:30 p.m.

Spenard was charged with child endangerment, drunken driving and having an open container of alcohol.

The boy was released to his mother. Another adult in the vehicle was not charged.
