PLAISTOW, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Plaistow are searching for a male suspect who reportedly sexually assaulted a 9-year-old while inside a Walmart on Sunday night.
According to police, the male suspect approached the child, who was briefly separated from a parent, in the toy department. He touched the victim inappropriately in the genital area before fleeing the store located at 58 Plaistow Rd.
After the alleged incident, the child reported what had taken place to a member of the store's management.
The child did not report any physical injury, but was treated by medical personnel as a precaution.
The suspect is described as a white male with glasses and short blonde hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black shirt and black pants with a grey-colored, hooded front zip sweatshirt.
The suspect vehicle appears to be a Chevrolet pick-up truck, long bed, grey or beige in color with a possible Massachusetts registration plate.
