Police made 21 arrests during Boston Calling Concert

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police made 21 arrests and gave out five civil citations around the City Hall Plaza area during Saturday's Boston Calling Concert.

According to police, the arrests occurred near City Hall Plaza and on Boston Common. Police also assisted 10 sick concert-goers, one of which was related to "Molly."

Tens of thousands attended the concert and its festivities.

In anticipation of the large crowd, police worked with several other agencies to implement a proactive plan with preventative measures designed to ensure a safe and trouble-free environment.

Among the measures implemented, police had an increased uniformed police presence, including undercover officers assigned to the Drug Control Unit.
