Police looking into tattoo on missing Fitchburg boy's mother

FITCHBURG, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are talking to local tattoo artists to find out who worked on a tattoo on Elsa Oliver, the mother of missing Fitchburg 5-year-old boy Jeremiah Oliver, according to an article in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

The body art that's raising suspicions is a butterfly, and it has the date Sept. 25, 2013 by it. Jeremiah was last reported seen by a relative 11 days earlier, on Sept. 14.

The article says that detectives are questioning local tattoo artists about that tattoo, and they're still looking for the one who did it.

As for the tattoo itself, investigators haven't said where on Oliver's body it is. She's facing child endangerment charges, her boyfriend is charged with assault and battery. The pair will be in court Tuesday for dangerousness hearings.

The mayor of Fitchburg is calling for community-wide prayer on Tuesday, Christmas Eve, for Jeremiah.
