WALPOLE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Mass. State Police are investigating the possibility that inclement weather contributed to a single-car crash that seriously injured a family from Lexington.
The crash occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on Route 95 south of exit 10 in Walpole on Saturday.
State Police originally believed a toddler suffered mortal injuries in the crash. The 15-month-old was later revived at Norwood Hospital and transported to Children's Hospital with severe injuries. His condition was considered stable by Saturday night.
A 5-year-old boy also in the car was transferred from Norwood Hospital to Children's Hospital with potentially serious injuries.
A man, age 36, and a woman, age 33, who were also in the car were transported to Norwood Hospital with injuries. They have since been transferred to Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
The crash remains under investigation.
