Police look for suspect in Weymouth bank robbery


WEYMOUTH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are searching for the suspect wanted in connection with a bank robbery Thursday night in Weymouth.

Authorities responded to a holdup alarm just after 6 p.m. at the Eastern Bank on Washington Street. Police say the suspect showed a note to the teller, demanding money, and then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was shown.

The suspect is described as a thin white male, between 35 and 40 years old, 5'3" to 5'5" with pock marks on his face. He was wearing a blue jacket with grey stripes with a hood, a baseball hat, glasses, blue jeans and black shoes.
