NH family reports racist vandalism, says they've been victimized for days

DERRY, N.H. — For the third time in less than two weeks, a Derry home has been targeted by vandals, and a woman who lives there believes it’s because of the color of her son’s skin.

Jaci Stimson showed surveillance video to FOX25 from 3 a.m. Wednesday showing a car slowing down, then speeding up. She said it’s the only unusual activity recorded that might be related to the latest incident.

“When I woke up and went into the car...someone had egged my car, thrown watermelon at it and fried chicken,” she said.

Jaci is white, but her 7-year-old son is not.

On Oct. 21, someone etched the n-word into her car, a few days later part of a wooden saw horse was left in the front yard with "n-word go home" written in marker on it. Wednesday morning, Jaci awoke and found her car covered in food and smashed eggs.

Jaci and her son have lived in the area for five years. She told FOX25 that she will not be intimidated and that she's not going anywhere.
