Police investigate string of indecent exposures in Cheshire

CHESHIRE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police are investigating a string of indecent exposures in Cheshire.

At about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 20, a woman was accosted by a man while jogging on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail, police say. The man then committed a lewd act and attempted to grab the woman's arm as she ran by him.

The man was riding a bike before the alleged assault and was described as a white man in his 20's who is about 5-feet and 4-inches tall with an average build and short brown hair, police say.

After an investigation, police found that there were four similar incidents this year and the descriptions of the suspects indicate a possibility that they may be connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police Barracks in Cheshire at 413-743-4700.
