Police investigate alleged home invasion in Roxbury

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Boston are investigating an alleged home invasion that occurred at 51 Fenwood Road on Sunday night.

Officers responded to the home at about 9:03 p.m. and were met by a 29-year-old male who claimed he had just been robbed by two males about 20 minutes earlier.

The victim told police he was watching television when he heard a knock at the door. He opened the door because he believed he recognized the black male, who is approximately 5'6" tall and 150 pounds, on the other side.

However, once he opened the door, two additional males, whom the victim did not recognize, entered the Fenwood Road home.

The suspects allegedly demanded the victim's gun and money before they duct-taped him and put him in the bathroom. The suspects allegedly took the victim's black Walter P99C 9mm firearm, possibly a box of ammunition and an iPhone. The suspects then fled the scene, police said.

One of the suspects is described as a brown-skinned, black male with curly hair. The suspect is approximately 5'6" tall and 160 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a navy shirt and blue jeans.

The third suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5'9" tall and 175 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light colored shirt, shorts, and a navy blue hat.

An investigation is ongoing.
