Police in NH search for Market Basket theft suspect

CONCORD, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Concord are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who reportedly stole a woman's purse from the parking lot of the Market Basket in Manchester on Aug. 27.

Police obtained video footage from the grocery store located on Elm Street. The footage showed the male suspect carrying the purse which was found inside the store; however, the suspect did steal a Subway Rewards Card which he later used at a chain location on Loudon Road in Concord.

The male suspect was caught on surveillance video at the Subway using the victim's card. It appears to be the same suspect in both videos.

The suspect is described as a white male, medium build, and dark hair. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a dark-colored polo or button-up short-sleeve shirt.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Concord Regional Crimeline at (603) 226-3100.
