WEBSTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) — State police are investigating the death of a 24-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed on a ramp to Interstate 395 Tuesday night in Webster.
Police say they responded to the scene at about 11:30 p.m. The victim, Jeremy Paige, of Webster, was declared dead on the way to the hospital.
Based on witness interviews and physical evidence, police identified the tractor-trailer that possibly struck Paige and did not stop.
State police got the dispatch office for the trucking company that owns the tractor-trailer to contact the driver, who pulled over in Woburn and awaited arrival of police. The truck was then towed to a secure location for processing.
No charges were immediately filed.
