DANVERS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Danvers police identified a man who died Monday night after he was hit by a car on Route 114.
Investigators say 45-year-old Steven Gaulin, of Beverly, was not in a crosswalk as he crossed the road at about 7:45 p.m. Gaulin was hit by a Ford Taurus driven by an 18-year-old Peabody woman.
Gaulin was transported to Beverly Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The teen was also transported to the hospital and released.
The surrounding area of Route 114 was closed for a time Monday night while police investigated.
The incident remains under investigation. There is no word on whether or not the driver could face any charges.
