Police hope to identify armed robbery suspect in Southborough


SOUTHBOROUGH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Police in Southborough are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a recent armed robbery.

Investigators say the suspect entered Fitzgerald's General Store on Southville Road at about 5 p.m. on Aug 22. The suspect, who was reportedly armed with a knife, is accused of removing money from the register.

The suspect is described as a white man, between 6' to 6'3" tall, weighing between 250 and 300 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing black pants, a purple shirt, black sunglasses, a black Carhartt wool hat, and black boots.
