A convoy, including police from all over New England, arrived in Virginia overnight Thursday to meet a young boy who is battling terminal cancer.
Nathan Norman said all he wanted were some notes from police and fire officials from around the country for Christmas.
A caravan of more than 40 agencies from Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire gathered at the Burlington Mall parking lot Wednesday morning and head for Virginia to deliver the cards.
The caravan arrived at the unsuspecting boy's home early Thursday morning to deliver his wish.
A live video feed from one police department showed the boy was overjoyed as dozens of officers lined up to hand deliver the notes they had written for him.
