FRAMINGHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A Framingham man is accused of biting his roommate's back and right ankle during a fight Tuesday night at their Framingham home.
Felix Martinez, 34, was charged with four counts of assault and battery and malicious destruction of property. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Wednesday in Framingham District Court.
Prosecutors did not ask for bail and Judge Robert Greco released Martinez. Greco has been ordered to not have contact with his roommates.
Police said Martinez also assaulted his three other roommates when they tried to intervene during the fight at the Greenview Street apartment. The roommates said Martinez was sitting on the couch drinking liquor when he suddenly got up and attacked one of the roommates for no apparent reason.
According to the police report, the biting victim suffered a two-inch gash in his back. He was taken to MetroWest Medical Center for treatment.
Martinez is due back in court on Feb. 15 for a pre-trial hearing.
