SPRINGFIELD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police are searching for a female suspect who reportedly robbed the Sally's Beauty Supply located at 1079 Boston Road in Springfield on Dec. 26.
According to police, the suspect entered the store around 6:40 p.m. and approached the clerk with her hands in her sweatshirt. She told the clerk that she had a knife and wanted all the "twenties and tens" in the cash drawer.
The clerk could see the blade of the knife through her shirt. The female suspect took the money from the drawer and fled into the parking lot where she got into a late model, dark gray Nissan Maxima.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian female with reddish hair. She is approximately 5'3" tall and 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, she was wearing pajama-type pants and a hooded sweatshirt.
