BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Dorchester man was arrested and charged with his third drunk driving offense after witnesses told police he was speeding and swerving while driving on Route 24 South in Bridgewater with his two children in the car.
Alex Delgado-Ruiz, 35, is facing his third OUI chard, as well as eight other counts, including child endangerment, speeding, failure to stay in marked lanes, failure to wear a seatbelt, operating with a revoked license, driving with defective equipment, driving with attached plates and for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, reports The Brockton Enterprise.
Witnesses called police to report an erratic driver on Route 24 South near exit 15 in Middleboro and Bridgewater at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Delgado-Ruiz was pulled over within five minutes of the report.
At Delgado-Ruiz's arraignment Monday, a judge set his bail at $7,500.
