Police: Dennisport couple arrested in bank robbery

DENNIS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Dennisport man and his girlfriend have been arrested in connection with a South Dennis bank robbery.

James P. Kelley, 31, was arrested following a traffic stop in connection with the Feb. 13 robbery of a Citizens Bank at 434 Route 134 in South Dennis.

Police had also issued an arrest warrant for Marjorie Moriarty, 26, of Dennisport, in connection with the incident. She turned herself in Monday afternoon and was charged with a single count of unarmed robbery.

Kelley was booked and was being held on $10,000 cash bail at the Barnstable County House of Correction. He is also charged with a single count of unarmed robbery.

Moriarty is currently being held at the Dennis Police Department on $1,000 cash bail. She will be arraigned in Orleans District Court on Tuesday.
