SOMERVILLE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- No one was hurt in a standoff that police were called to at a home in Somerville Sunday morning.
The standoff ended just after noon on Sunday. The situation began inside a home on George Street where a 28-year-old man was armed with a knife, threatening himself and his family.
According to FOX 25's Crystal Haynes, who was on the scene, police were able to get family members out of the house safely and later talk the man into leaving the house as well.
An ambulance was standing by on the street.
