BROOKLINE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) — A Brookline man woke up early Thursday morning and found a thief asleep on the couch at his Park Street apartment, police said.
Evgeniy Dolzhenkov was charged with breaking and entering. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Brookline District Court.
The resident discovered the 41-year-old sleeping next to a backpack filled with a digital camera, laptop and other items from the home, according to police, who said Dolzhenkov is homeless.
Police said they are investigating whether Dolzhenkov may be responsible for other break-ins.
