BEVERLY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Beverly woman has decided to not press any charges against a young woman she found sleeping on her couch Saturday morning.
The homeowner told police she woke up at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning and found the woman on her couch and her kitchen in disarray.
Officers responded to the Glidden Street home and woke the woman, who reportedly smelled of alcohol. The young woman told police she did not remember breaking into the home
According to police, it appeared the young woman broke into the home through a kitchen window.
The young woman was arrested for trespassing and posted bail over the weekend. She will be arraigned one count of simple trespass Tuesday.
