Police arrest two in Waltham home invasion, shooting

WALTHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two men were arrested on Saturday afternoon after a home invasion and shooting in Waltham.

Andre Laventure, 26, of Manchester, NH, and Cameron Fournier, 24, of Chelmsford, are accused of starting a fight at 243 Lake Street just before 11:30 p.m. Friday. The men are accused of assaulting and robbing residents of the home while Laventure held them against their will at gunpoint.

Laventure reportedly shot at three victims attempting to flee the scene of the incident. No one was hit or injured by the gunfire.

Both men were arrested after police spent much of Saturday morning searching for them.

Laventure is charged with home invasion, two counts of kidnapping, three counts of attempted murder, carrying a firearm without a license, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

Cameron Fournier is charged with home invasion and assault and battery.

Both men will be arraigned on Monday morning.
