BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police have made a second arrest in connection with the stabbing of a mother in Dorchester.

Investigators say 19-year-old Daquan Sparks lured his ex-girlfriend to Bay Street in Savin Hill with the promise of sneakers for their baby. He is due in court Friday on charges of intent to murder.

The victim was pushing her baby in a stroller when police say Sparks grabbed her while Sparks' current girlfriend, Samia Jones, stabbed her several times. Jones has already been charged.

The victim is in the hospital in stable condition. The baby was not hurt.
