Police arrest 10, seize heroin and guns in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Ten people were arrested on Friday after police seized drugs, money, and guns from several Springfield homes.

The arrests came as part of a multi-agency warrant execution in the northern section of Springfield.

Law enforcement seized two illegally possessed handguns, twelve grams of heroin, $1,100 in cash, and .12 gauge shotgun shells from homes on Newland and Lowell Streets. The heroin reportedly carries as $7,500 street value.

Those who did not make bail will be in Springfield District Court for arraignment on Monday.

FELIX ACEVEDO, 19, of Springfield for possession of CL A substance (Heroin) with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm for two handguns, unlawful possession of ammunition
 
Juvenile Male, 15, for possession of CL A substance (Heroin) with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm for two handguns, unlawful possession of ammunition
