ARLINGTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 20-year-old Arlington woman, who became stuck on the roof of the Park Avenue home she had attempted to burglarize, was arrested for breaking and entering Friday night.
According to The Boston Globe, Briana Buckley was burglarizing a home on Park Avenue when the resident returned home at about 5:20 p.m. The suspect attempted to hide in a bedroom, but was confronted by the resident and fled out a second-floor window; however, the window was too high and Buckley became trapped.
Police responded to the home and found her sitting on the roof. She climbed back inside and was taken into custody.
Buckley allegedly told police she had broken into two homes, one on Florence Avenue and the one on Park Avenue, because she needed money. She was charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and two counts of breaking and entering.
