Police address concerns at South Boston building where doctors were killed

SOUTH BOSTON — Police in South Boston will be addressing concerns from neighbors nearly a week after two doctors were found brutally murdered in their penthouse.

"Personally, I am a mix of emotions. I'm sad, I'm angry,” said Julie Brogan.

Julie brogan lives in the condo complex where Lina Bolanos and Richard Field were killed. The couple was planning to get married this year; police say it was all taken away by a former concierge of their building.

He got into their 11th floor penthouse apartment on Friday night, tied them up and murdered them, said police.  The community days later is still trying to cope with what happened.

Even nearby businesses where the couple frequented are sending out tributes on social media.  South Boston Yoga posted on its Facebook how Bolanos and Richard "were beautiful, kind and amazing people… We will remember them always as the incredible people they were and the lives they lead in dedication to others."

Bolanos worked at Mass Eye and Ear as a pediatric anesthesiologist and Fields at North Shore Pain Management.

The investigation into the murder continues, as police try to establish a motive for the murder.

Wednesday night, the owners of the building where Bolanos and Richard lived held a community meeting for residents.
