Police: 17 arrested for underage drinking at Hingham house party

HINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Seventeen local teenagers are in some trouble and so is the homeowner after being arrested at an underage house party Saturday in Hingham.
    
Police said when they arrived at the on East Street home, the kids were throwing bottles at their cars. Many ran into the woods, but all were caught.
    
Officials said there were so many underage kids that they had to call a police van to bring them all to the station. All were released on personal recognizance and will be arraigned Tuesday for being minors in possession of alcohol and disturbing the peace.

The home's owner, William Hacking, was there when it happened. Police said he was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. He is expected to face charges in the state's social host law.
    
One of the teenagers arrested was Hacking's 17-year-old son.
