Plympton man faces 6th OUI offense

CARVER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Plympton man is facing his sixth operating under the influence charge following his arrest in Carver Tuesday.

Carver police say they received several calls at about 6 p.m. about a gray pickup truck driving erratically on Tremont Street. After searching the area, they failed to locate the truck.

At 9 p.m., they received more calls about a similar truck driving down Plymouth Street and into the Shaw's Supermarket parking lot on North Main Street.

Officers responded to the parking lot and found a 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup truck behind the supermarket. The driver, 49-year-old David Durling, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.

Durling was held without bail prior to his arraignment Wednesday.
