UPDATE: Elderly Plymouth couple found safe

PLYMOUTH, Mass. — UPDATE: Police said Jean and John Bickerstaff have been found in Bourne and they are safe.

ORIGINAL: Police in Plymouth are searching for an elderly couple missing since Thursday morning.

Jean Bickerstaff and her husband John Bickerstaff were last seen around 9:30 a.m. at their home on Mountain Hill Road in the Cedarville section of Plymouth.

Jean, 87, has white hair, is approximately 5-foot-10 and weighs 160-pounds. John, 90, has a full head of grey hair, is around 5-foot-7 and weighs 145-pounds. John also wears hearing aids, glasses and has early signs of dementia.

Police believe the couple is in their blue 2007 Toyota Camry with Mass. license plates 3666AF.

Family members say the couple usually doesn’t leave the Cedarville area except to go the Independence Mall, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, and the Kohl’s plaza in Plymouth.
