Planned blasts in the Fenway from could sound like cannons

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Massachusetts state police are warning residents of Fenway again Thursday to be aware of loud blasts in the area.

It's part of the Muddy River Restoration Project. Crews are trying to determine the strength of existing pilings and support structures.
    
The tests, which run through May 10, are planned between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Residents and workers in the Fenway area should brace themselves for a series of loud blasts that sound like cannons.
