Pickup truck, front-end loader trapped in Duxbury Bay

DUXBURY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Crews are setting up barricades trying to contain any oil leaking from a pickup truck and front-end loader that became trapped in Duxbury Bay Friday morning.

According to the town's harbormaster, a truck was stranded in the middle of the bay when a contractor who was doing construction drove the vehicle out during low tide and became stuck.

Another contractor on a backhoe tried to free the truck, but also became stuck.

No one was hurt. SKYFOX was over the scene.

Officials said they will be able to free the vehicles at low tide, which will be around 9 p.m.
