Photo of suspect in deadly Easter shooting released by investigators

LYNN, Mass. — Lynn police are on the hunt for a man they say is armed and dangerous after a deadly shooting on Easter.

Mourners gathered at the Zion Baptist Church Thursday night to remember Leonardo Clement, who was shot and killed hours after attending Easter Sunday services.

Massachusetts State Police have now released a photo of the man they believe carried out the deadly shooting.
State police say they're looking for William A. Cash, who is also known as William S. Banks.

Authorities say he has an extensive criminal history with convictions for armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and drug trafficking.

He has ties to Lynn, Boston and in Florida. He was last seen driving a silver Chrysler, but it’s possible that he is driving a different car now.

Friends of Clement said he was 56-years-old and was legally blind. He was walking with a friend when shots rang out. Clement was killed and his friend was injured, but is suspected to survive.

A warrant has now been issued for Cash charging him with murder.

State police stress Cash is armed and dangerous and anyone with information about his whereabouts should call police.
