BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A person of interest in the discovery of burned human remains is returning to Massachusetts following his arrest in San Diego.
Officials confirmed to FOX 25 North Shore rapper Reggie Cummings was being brought back to Massachusetts.
Cummings left the Salisbury condo he had been renting since September abruptly, about the same time human remains were discovered in Bridgewater and Hyde Park. Investigators say the remains belonged to one of Cummings' friends, 24-year-old Dennis Jackson.
Jackson, a father of three, also stayed at the rental, sleeping on the second floor.
Cummings was arrested while trying to enter San Diego from Mexico in November. Investigators say he was held on unrelated warrants. He has not been charged in Jackson's death.
