• Pedestrian injured in crash outside Falmouth church

    FALMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A pedestrian was taken to a Boston area hospital via medical helicopter after being struck by a passing car in front of St. Patrick's Church in Falmouth Sunday morning.

    Officers responded to St. Patrick's Church on Main Street at about 7:50 a.m. for a report of a car crash involving a pedestrian.

    The pedestrian was taken to a Boston area hospital with significant head trauma.

    Following a preliminary investigation, police concluded a 2004 grey Toyota Avalon heading east on Main Street hit the pedestrian who was attempting to cross in a crosswalk.

    The crash remains under investigation and charges may be pending.

    The identities of the driver and the pedestrian are being withheld.
