NEWBURYPORT, MA — Massachusetts State Police have confirmed a 64-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Newburyport on Friday.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m on Route 113 at Low Street.

According to the Essex District Attorney's office, the man was hit by a 2006 Toyota Scion and transported to the Anna Jacques Hospital with serious injuries.
He was pronounced dead shortly after.
The driver of the vehicle did stop, and the windshield of that vehicle had visible damage.
No charges or citations have been issued.
