ORLEANS (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two people were arrested on drug charges Friday after a month-long investigation on Cape Cod.
Police arrested 30-year-old Robert Mansfield and 24-year-old Amy Baird while they were traveling on Canal Road during at about 1:30 p.m.
Investigators allege that Mansfield and Baird were in possession of 8 grams of heroin and an undisclosed amount of money. They place the street value of the heroin at more than $2,500.
Mansfield and Baird are charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, two counts each of possession of class B substance, two counts each of possession of class E substance, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
