• Onset woman arrested in connection with D'Angelo's armed robbery

WAREHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – An Onset woman was arrested on armed robbery charges after robbing a D'Angelo's in Wareham Monday, according to police.

Around 2:30 p.m. Monday, Wareham police responded to the D'Angelo's on Cranberry Highway for a reported armed robbery. Kristi Ray Warren, 24, allegedly sat in the restaurant for an hour before she approached the counter and demanded money from the register. She allegedly felt her waist area and said, "I have a gun."

She quickly left the store when an employee called a manager. She did not get any money and no one was injured.

During the investigation, an officer noticed a female matching Warren's description near the Silver Lake Motel. As the officer approached Warren, she left the area where a black pellet gun that looked like an authentic firearm was located on the ground. The officer eventually found Warren hiding next to a building, and placed her under arrest.

Warren was charged with armed robbery and scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
