One person killed, another injured in Roxbury shooting

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One person has died following an early morning double shooting in Boston Saturday.

Boston police say they responded to the area near 131 Harold Street in Roxbury just after 1:30 a.m. on reports of a person shot. Once on scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.

While at the scene, investigators were alerted to a second shooting victim on Holworthy Street. The victim was transported from the scene with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.
