BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One firefighter was taken to the hospital after a four-alarm blaze in Jamaica Plain Saturday.
Officials say the fire broke out just after 1 p.m. at a building on South Street.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the building.
The exterior area of the fire was doused by 2 p.m., but fire officials continued to work to extinguish flames in the attic. It was extinguished by 3 p.m.
Fire officials say one firefighter was transported to the hospital with a foot injury.
