ATTLEBORO (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A hit-and-run in one town ended in a deadly crash in another.
One person is dead and others are in the hospital after a two-car wreck in Attleboro. The victim is a 24-year-old North Attleboro woman who was driving a 2002 Saturn. Her name has not been released.
Police say a Jeep was first involved in a hit-and-run in Plainville. The victim gave police a description of the SUV that hit his car. Police tracked the Jeep to Attleboro, where it was involved in a deadly crash.
Both cars were badly smashed in and ended up off the road.
The driver of the Jeep is in custody. Police say Jason Kwolek, of Pawtucket, R.I., is charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and speeding. If Kwolek waives rendition in Rhode Island, he
will be returned to Massachusetts
for his arraignment.
The incidents are under investigation.
