One dead, one injured after car crashes into Revere house

REVERE, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say one young man has died and a second has been critically injured after their car crashed into a home in Revere.

The car struck the home on Route 1A just before 7 a.m. Friday.

A 20-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The 19-year-old driver was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital in critical condition.

Their names were not released but police say both men were from Swampscott.

No one in the home was injured and the structure sustained minor damage.

The crash remains under investigation.
